Tsuba Maru-gata with relief decoration of wading birds under a pine tree. The background features a Nanako-ji motif (grains of fish roe). Apocryphal mark 石黒是美彫 on the Seppa-dai either "Ishiguro Koreyoshi horu" or "Engraved by Ishiguro Koreyoshi" probably in homage to the prestigious Ishiguro School. Japan, 19th century. Dimensions: 7.5x8 cm. (Wear).
