Pair of large curved corner units in satinwood and violetwood veneer. Cambered legs follow the curved uprights with ormolu sabots, astragals and falls. The crossbow-shaped front opens onto two leaves adorned with fillets and rich ornamentation in chased and gilded bronze. Profiled Aleppo Breche marble top. One stamped "I.DUBOIS" Jacques Dubois (1693-1763). Mastered on September 5, 1742. Louis XV period. H. 82 cm - W. 64 cm - D. 87 cm (Significant veneering damage). A pair of corner pieces stamped I.DUBOIS, similar in shape but with smaller mounts, was sold at Christie's in Monaco on December 13, 1998, lot 314.
