Follower of NICOLAS POUSSIN (1594 - 1665) Arcadian landscape with three figures Pen and black ink, brown wash on paper 12.5 x 21 cm. Collection mark lower left: Émile Calando "père" (L.837) Provenance: - Émile Calando "père" (1840-1898), "amateur-marchand" in Paris, who considered it a drawing by Nicolas Poussin, - Émile Calando "fils" (?-1953), who considered it a drawing by Nicolas Poussin, - sold by the latter, in 1950, to René-Claude Catroux (1874-1964), an expert in Paris, as a drawing by Nicolas Poussin, for 15,000 francs. - Probably acquired from the latter by Count Charles de Gramont (1911-1976), Paris.
