Important cueilleret and terriers manuscripts of the Seigneurie
de Fontenailles. 1773. Set of 3 large folio volumes. Bound in uniform marbled brown calf, with gilded
and spandrels, large arms in the center of the boards, richly ornamented smooth spines with small irons taken from the arms
arms: (5 fusées) repeated, red morocco title labels, interior scrolls, gilt edges (Binding
binding). A few defects of the time. Unidentified bookplate torn off.

These luxurious terriers and cueilleret were drawn up in 1773, when Château de Bois-Boudran belonged to
Ambroise René Des Roches-Herpin de Boisboudran (arms quarterly "Argent, five crowns of thorns sable
Sable, set 2 and 3, etc), a few months before its acquisition by Jean-Henry-Louis GREFFULHE.
