Bedini Variations on the famous erotic composition painted by Titian in 1544-1545 for Cardinal Alessandro Farnese (1520-1589). Following the success of this composition, the painter was commissioned to produce several versions, with variations, notably for Philip II of Spain, now conserved in Madrid (Museo del Prado, inv. P000425).
