Questions - Answers. (Germany, circa 1860). Cardboard box, size 15 x 11.5 cm, divided into two compartments, each containing nine cards (6.7 x 10.6 cm): nine question cards, nine answer cards. Each card is illustrated with a colored, gummed lithograph showing one or two children in activity. Above the image is a question (or answer) in German, and below it the translation into English and French. There is no lid. Question-and-answer board game. As always in this kind of game, the questions are not very precise, of very general interest, so that the answers are not much better. In other words, the answers are fairly interchangeable, making the game infinite. What makes it interesting, apart from its historical educational value, is the quality of execution and state of preservation: fresh, brilliant colors thanks to the protective varnish.
