GUY HUZÉ (FRANCE - NEW ZEALAND/ 1912-1997) Set of five works: animated beach scenes in West Africa, sky study Gouache on paper Four signed 'Guy Huzé The largest: 19 x 22.5 cm. The smallest: 15 x 24 cm. French painter trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, but soon left France to travel the world, eventually settling in Australia and New Zealand. He traveled extensively, from Polynesia (notably Tahiti) to Africa. We know he visited Gabon, Ghana and Guinea.
