Based on the famous vase from the first century B.C. in the Musée du Louvre (Paris), probably from Greece and discovered in 1569 in Rome, in the gardens of Sallustus. This original work comes from the collections of Camillo BORGHESE (1775-1832) and was part of the Napoleonic transaction at the expense of the Villa du Prince.
