Mould workshop of the Musée de sculpture comparée (1882-1928) Pillar of Saint Trophime with abacus Patinated plaster H. 210 cm W. 56 cm D. 54 cm Based on the original late 12th-century work in the north gallery of the cloister of Saint-Thophime Cathedral in Arles, depicting the city's first bishop. Our figure can also be seen on one of the photographs taken by Édouard BALDUS (1813-1889) during the 1851 heliographic mission, and preserved at the Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie in Charenton-le-Pont.
