Patinated plaster H. 40 cm W. 26 cm D. 17 cm Based on the original work in the Musée du Louvre (Paris), dating from the 2nd century A.D. and discovered in Izmir (Smyrna). This work is based on a bronze model by the Greek sculptor Lysippus, dating from the 4th century B.C. and known as "Epitrapezios", characterizing small statues made for tables or, according to other interpretations, the posture of the "attablé" god.
