Beautiful portico clock in white marble and chased and gilded bronze. Lictor beams model. Cut-edge base with pearl frieze and stepped front. Two lictor-beam uprights topped by an armillary sphere and a sphere. The white enameled circular dial is signed "De Belle Rue St Honoré à Paris". Jean-François Debelle, master in 1781, rue Saint Honoré between 1787 and 1800. The top is adorned with an antique-style vase. Circa 1790. H. 60 cm - W. 37 cm - D. 14 cm (Functionality of the movement not guaranteed). In Pierre Kjellberg's book, we find a similar clock on page 328, a "Revolutionary" portico clock.
