Set of two frames relating to Henri POISSON, teacher in Rouen, veteran of the 14-18 war. -The frame includes the croix de guerre with two citations, 1914-1918 commemorative medal, interallied medal, silver identity plate. The citations are shown at the bottom of the frame. -Beautiful awards frame, circa 1900, on a black velvet background marked in gold "INSTRUCTION PUBLIQUE - H.POISSON - INSTITUTEUR - Mentions honorables", adorned with a chased ormolu motif featuring the coat of arms of the city of Rouen. It contains a Croix de Guerre with two commendations and 28 award medals from 1886 to 1896 (mostly duplicates, three to be refixed), notably from the Society for the Protection of Animals and the Society against Tobacco Abuse.
