2 volumes in a small in-12 volume with 1 frontispiece, 156 pp. 3 figures; 138 pp. (2) ff. table, 3 figures: blue glazed calf, spine with gold and cold decorated false-nerve, double frame of cold roulette and gilt fillet on the boards, cold cartouche in the center, decorated inner edges, gilt edges (binding from the first half of the 19th century).
Uncommon edition.
It follows the German translation of Lyndamine ou l'Optimisme des pays chauds, "one of the best productions of ultra-erotic literature" (Gay Lemonnyer).
A frontispiece and 6 free engraved figures out of text.
Attractive romantic binding.
From the F. de Rolland de Lastous library (with bookplate). Four figures rebacked, tear to one plate restored. Minor damage to lower spine.
