Đinh Văn Lịch (né en 1916 - ) - Le temple Ngọc Sơn et le lac Hoàn Kiếm à Hanoï Đinh Văn Lịch (b. 1916 - ) The Ngọc Sơn temple and Lake Hoàn Kiếm in Hanoi Polychrome lacquer on wood 1953 Signed and dated lower right 33 cm x 45 cm Born in the commune of Hạ Thái, himself the son of a painter, Đinh Văn Lịch is the younger brother of Đinh Văn Thành, who had a leading role in the rediscovery and teaching of lacquer at the Indochina School of Fine Arts. Like his third brother, Đan, he probably collaborated with several of the School's prestigious artists, and in the 1950s set up his own production studio south of Hanoi.
